So, when I was checking out CNN.com the other day, a story caught my attention:
Buffalo Wiings in short supply
Apparently, we are in the midst of a chicken wing shortage. How is it that there is a shortage of chicken wings and not chicken legs? Is someone somewhere breeding wingless chickens? If so, then this might be the best example of using science for evil-forget stem cell research-when we start breeding wingless chickens, it's all over!
Then I saw this headline: Flaming Squirrel To Blame In Jones Wildfire. Now, you have to know that this took place in rural Oklahoma (which is redundant, since ALL of Oklahoma is rural). Can you imagine the reactions?
"Damn those squirrels! First it was the gay pride parade and now the Jones County wildfire!"
"Next thing you know, we'll all be dressin' in snappy fedoras and sippin' lattes!"
"I tell you what, Joe Sam, it'll be a cold day in hell before I trade in my pick up truck for a Prius!"
